While all coaching is some form of facilitated problem solving, there are many different specific situations for which coaching is appropriate. Below are some of the types of coaching I offer.

  • Developmental Coaching. This is for the leader who has been tapped for a more senior position and wants assistance in shifting his or her leadershi

While all coaching is some form of facilitated problem solving, there are many different specific situations for which coaching is appropriate. Below are some of the types of coaching I offer.

  • Developmental Coaching. This is for the leader who has been tapped for a more senior position and wants assistance in shifting his or her leadership skills and style to be more appropriate to the new level.
  • Performance Coaching. Often leaders have a specific situation or skills gap that they want to address. Performance coaching is focused on the situation and the capabilities needed to be successful in it.
  • Transition Coaching. Moving into a new position is a critical time for leaders. Transition coaching helps the new leader hit the ground running.
  • Whole Person Coaching. The most intensive type of coaching I offer, whole person coaching includes deep assessment of emotional competency, personality traits, fitness and physical readiness, and mental acuity.

  • New Leader Assimilation. A 4-6 hour intensive session that compresses six months of "getting to know you" into a day. Great for getting a new leader quickly integrated.
  • Innovative Problem Solving. This is a structured process for helping teams come up with new solutions for difficult problems.
  • Vision and Values. This is not about simply creating a "mission statement", but on getting aligned as a team on the the deep purpose you hope to serve and how you will behave in the pursuit of that purpose.
  • Offsite design and facilitation. Pulling your team or division together and want to do something more interactive than the same old "dog and pony show"? I have a number of highly experiential interventions for a variety of purposes and can help you integrate them into the design of your offsite.
  • Team DiSC. DiSC is a behavioral style profile that helps team members express how they work best with others and allows them to "read" others and respond more appropriately.

  • Culture Assessment and Transformation/Organizational Alignment. Every organization has a culture. The question is whether the culture you have is serving your purpose and goals or hindering you from reaching them. Using both quantitative and qualitative means, I can help you see the true current culture, design the culture that you want, and align the organization (both human and technical dimensions) to the desired culture.
  • Mergers and Acquisition. I can help with cultural due diligence - helping you see where your cultures may clash and helping you create ways to integrate your cultures so that both entities get the value they planned for.
  • Leadership Development/Corporate University Design. As an internal consultant I created and managed large leadership development programs. I can help you in designing the overall architecture as well as providing content as needed.
